Shower adequate but if looking for absolute perfection then power shower would be welcome addition.

Nothing too much trouble, we enjoyed the place. Thank you everyone for a relaxing stay for 2 nights. The location was marvellous, not too far away from Robert Burns Centre.

We very much appreciated being able to check in early in order to get ready for a wedding we were going to; we had rung the previous day and reception was most helpful in asking housekeeping. The hotel was perfect for our needs this weekend.

Overall had very comfortable stay for 2 nights. Enjoyed our rooms with toiletries supplied. The restaurant was not too far from the hotel. We didn't have time, but we will come back.
Nothing all good!

clean but a bit soulless
The cleanliness of the room was excellent, as it felt immaculate upon arrival. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly.
The check-in greeting lacked warmth.

The creaky bed made for a restless night, overshadowing an otherwise enjoyable stay with comfortable amenities and a good breakfast.

Excellent historic character, with charming old-world charm in the architecture. Breakfast offered a variety of options that were decent, setting a good start for the day.
Had some trouble with the TV settings-no subtitles available despite trying to tweak every setting. The floors creaked quite a bit, expected in an old place but can be annoying at night. The bathroom showed some wear and tear, needing a little love, and there was a strange secondary door in the room that amplified noise from the neighboring space. The ventilation was lacking. I couldn't open the window for some fresh air. Minor quirks that some might overlook but still worth noting.

We visited most of the local castles and spent a part of the time looking for something to eat with children which was reasonable as we could not get served after eight in the evening in the town only stayed one night
